Diabetic snacks are most helpful when they reduce hunger, support energy, and avoid unnecessary glucose spikes. A good snack often includes protein, fiber, or healthy fat rather than fast-digesting carbohydrates alone. Patients usually do best when snacks are chosen intentionally rather than added impulsively on top of already high-carb meals.
